  • La description

The Air Freshener is the kind of loot that quietly ruins a stash if you do not check your project needs first. I sold one early because 2,000 Coins looked more useful than a small trinket, then had to spend several raids looking for another. Before dumping similar items, I now check the ARC Raiders BluePrints list and my active objectives, especially when Converging Paths is asking for two copies.

The item is uncommon Mechanical loot, weighs only 0.3 kg, stacks to five, and cannot be recycled or salvaged. That makes it awkward rather than worthless. You can keep it, submit it, use it in a Flame Spray craft, or sell it, but there is no material return if you change your mind later.

Where My Runs Usually Find One

I get better results from mixed routes than from camping one famous room. Cars are the quickest checks, especially when several vehicles sit close together. After that, I move through apartments, offices, shops, and maintenance spaces with lots of drawers, shelves, lockers, and work surfaces.

Blue Gate vehicle clusters and the shop near the checkpoint are practical early checks. Around Dam Battlegrounds, apartment interiors and the Scrapyard give more searchable objects without forcing a huge detour. Stella Montis is slower, but office areas, control rooms, and tool carts are worth scanning. The important part is treating these as loot environments, not guaranteed spawns.

The Search Pattern That Saves Time

Do not sprint past exposed surfaces. Air Fresheners can blend into desks, counters, dashboards, carts, and workshop clutter. I move quickly between buildings, then pause for a short visual sweep. Searching every container blindly is slower and also makes it easier to miss footsteps or get caught in an inventory screen.

My preferred route has three parts: fast vehicle checks, dense interior searches, then a Mechanical area near extraction. This gives the raid a clear exit instead of turning one useful find into an excuse for another fight.

    1. Check clustered cars before committing to a long building clear.

    2. Search small rooms with many objects before large empty interiors.

    3. Change direction toward extraction after securing the required copy.

That last rule matters more than players admit. The Air Freshener is light, but the replacement cost is measured in time, exposure, and failed extractions rather than weight.

Keep It, Craft It, or Sell It?

If your project still needs Air Fresheners, submission should come first. Flame Spray crafting uses one Air Freshener and one Fireball Burner, plus the appropriate in-round crafting skill. I only make that trade when the project requirement is already covered and I have a specific reason to use the gadget during the raid.

Keeping one spare is sensible if your stash allows it. Selling extras becomes reasonable when current objectives are complete, your crafting plan is inactive, and storage pressure is affecting better resources. Selling the only copy for quick Coins is usually the mistake.

After finding one, secure the route, skip optional fights, and extract unless another nearby loot cluster is genuinely safe. The best Arc Raiders Air Freshener farm is not the route with the most rumors attached to it. It is the route that produces enough checks while giving you a realistic chance to leave.

For stash planning, I would treat it as a flexible component first and a coin item second. Keep project copies separate from crafting materials, and review requirements before every sell session through your ARC Items reference. That small habit prevents a surprising amount of unnecessary farming later.
